Superhero Marketing

superman.jpgYou know you are addicted to blogging when you start to have severe shakes after short periods of not blogging. It has been several weeks since I’ve put up a post. There are a few reasons for this:

  • I am really, really busy, and I would feel guilty if I blogged at Oracle (that’s my disclaimer for you Mr. Larry Ellison).
  • I have a hard time not having my license plate at the top of my blog (I might change out my “About” picture to my license plate).
  • However, the real reason is that I have been waiting on my graphic artist to give me the new look of MyMarketer.net (you can’t rush great art).
  • Unfortunately, I am still waiting on the graphic, but I am excited to see the final product. I’ve decided to take a stronger focus on the MyMarketer name and also remove the Kitchen Sink branding.

I know this will crush many of you, but I am tired of getting spam on whether I will link to other kitchen sink sites. I know we all get spam no matter what, but I’ve decided that if this is inevitable that I would like to get spam on something I am passionate about–superheroes!

As a kid, I was an avid reader of spider man, superman, batman, and x-men (the classics). These were my heroes and I dreamed of the day that I would get a super power and save the world.

Little did I know that my super power would be marketing and blogging. I have been given a mission to save the world from bad marketing and gimmicky websites.

So in the near future (hopefully in the very near future), Kitchen Sink Marketing will be changing. It of course will have a superhero flavor. If you have any ideas for tag lines or slogans I am all ears. Until then stay tune to the same bat channel at the same bat time.
