Directories have been around for years, but it seems in the last few years more and more people are utilizing directories as a viable SEO tool. The other day my friend, Eran, who operates GroovyJeans.com shared with me that directories were one the best sources of traffic for his site.
With that mind, my good friend from New Life Habits sent me over a list today of almost 1000 directories. The list also has the Google page rank associated to the directory.
I felt this knowledge was too valuable to keep to myself. So below is the list with links to their respected sites. As you can see, the list is quite long. So, I’ve also made an excel spread sheet that you can download (though it does not contain their links).
Looking at the list you might feel a bit overwhelmed (I know I do). My friend also found for me a relatively inexpensive person to submit to 200 directories. I have never used their service, so please let me know what you think.
Blah, blah, blah, everyone is doing it. The web is littered with unoriginality. Find what makes you unique and stay with it. Vow to be unique. Example:3 Doors Down—A True SEO Music Video Ü
2. Blog imperfectly
Give yourself a time limit when writing a post and then publish it when you hit the deadline. Published imperfection is progress. Unpublished perfection is worthless. Vow to have flaws. Example: My Imperfect Plan
3. Blog the future
Anyone can tear apart the past. Look into the future and take a chance on what might not be. Not only does it help you look for possible opportunities, but it also gives your blog unique perspective. Vow to guess the future. Example: The Day Search Engines Died!
